Meet Our Team

 
Brian Bar, Founder and CEO   Brian is the Founder and CEO of Victory Lap. Before launching the business, Brian served as the VP of Sales for ThinkCERCA, where he devised a national distribution strategy, while simultaneously building out the sales organization. This experience, coupled with his work creating Groupon’s sales onboarding department (overseeing the hiring and development of over 1,000 entry-level sales representatives) led Brian to start Victory Lap. He is a sought after expert for companies hiring, training, and managing Gen Y and Gen Z sales talent. Brian lives with his wife, daughter, and dog in Chicago, and enjoys summers in his hometown of Long Beach, IN.

Lindsay Weickert, Talent Acquisition Lead   Lindsay is the Talent Acquisition Lead at Victory Lap, where she recruits and develops some of Chicago's top sales and tech talent. Prior to joining the Victory Lap team, Lindsay served as the Director of Talent at BUILDERS VC. A graduate of Miami University in Ohio, Lindsay's passion for talent development stemmed from her interest in social psychology, management, and leadership, which has allowed her to place her talent in some of Chicago's top companies. Outside of the office, Lindsay can be found walking her dog Ellie, volunteering with various nonprofits throughout the city, and training for the 2018 Chicago Marathon.

Lindsay Weickert, Talent Acquisition Lead

Lindsay is the Talent Acquisition Lead at Victory Lap, where she recruits and develops some of Chicago's top sales and tech talent. Prior to joining the Victory Lap team, Lindsay served as the Director of Talent at BUILDERS VC. A graduate of Miami University in Ohio, Lindsay's passion for talent development stemmed from her interest in social psychology, management, and leadership, which has allowed her to place her talent in some of Chicago's top companies. Keegan Chapman, General Manager   Keegan is the General Manager of Victory Lap. Prior to joining the VL team, Keegan served as the Head of Sales for BeautyNow by Groupon, where she built a sales organization from the ground up, in addition to developing the sales process, training methodology, and market entry strategies. Keegan has spent her career developing training programs for sales managers and directors, as well as trained and placed hundreds of sales representatives into the roles that often launched their sales careers. Through her career, Keegan has gained a strong reputation for building unstoppable work cultures that are both fun and high performing. Outside of work, Keegan chooses to spend time with family and friends and travel to new places as whenever possible!

Keegan Chapman, General Manager

Keegan is the General Manager of Victory Lap. Kevin Bugielski, Manager of Customer Success and Marketing   Kevin is Victory Lap's first hire, where he assisted in the conceptualization and development of a launch strategy for the company. As the Manager of Customer Success and Marketing, Kevin fosters strong relationships between candidates and employers, all while establishing a strong digital marketing presence for Victory Lap. He received a Bachelor's Degree in English from DePauw University, and has dedicated his professional career to growing Victory Lap's sales community in Chicago. In the end, Kevin is passionate about building strong connections with others, all while helping them succeed.

Kevin is Victory Lap's first hire, where he assisted in the conceptualization and development of a launch strategy for the company. As the Manager of Customer Success and Marketing, Kevin fosters strong relationships between candidates and employers, all while establishing a strong digital marketing presence for Victory Lap. He received a Bachelor's Degree in English from DePauw University, and has dedicated his professional career to growing Victory Lap's sales community in Chicago. In the end, Kevin is passionate about building strong connections with others, all while helping them succeed.

Ali Rojas, Talent Coordinator   Ali is the talent coordinator at Victory Lap where she assists the Talent Acquisition Lead to recruit Chicago’s top sales and tech talent. As an Indianapolis native, Ali started her career in sales serving as the sales & catering manager for her parent’s full-scale catering company before moving on to Angie’s List HQ where she worked in sales, client services, and merchandising for 4.5 years. Establishing up her love of SaaS and tech and the culture the industry builds she moved on to manage an office of 60 employees as well as assisting the CEO and other C-Suite executives at Emplify. Ali has a deep passion for people and creating raving fans wherever she goes. Outside of work, Ali is often spending time with her family and friends back in Indy and always on the lookout for the next best restaurant and rooftop to try in Chicago!

Ali is the talent coordinator at Victory Lap where she assists the Talent Acquisition Lead to recruit Chicago’s top sales and tech talent. As an Indianapolis native, Ali started her career in sales serving as the sales & catering manager for her parent’s full-scale catering company before moving on to Angie’s List HQ where she worked in sales, client services, and merchandising for 4.5 years. Establishing up her love of SaaS and tech and the culture the industry builds she moved on to manage an office of 60 employees as well as assisting the CEO and other C-Suite executives at Emplify. Ali has a deep passion for people and creating raving fans wherever she goes. Outside of work, Ali is often spending time with her family and friends back in Indy and always on the lookout for the next best restaurant and rooftop to try in Chicago!

Ryan Walker, Director of Sales   Ryan is the Director of Sales at Victory Lap. Under his expertise, Ryan's actively growing Victory Lap's robust employer network to include some of the best and brightest companies across the Chicagoland area. Prior to joining Victory Lap, Ryan was an individual contributor at Groupon, where he spent 5+ years at the company, and is one of the top 10 revenue producers of all time ($30MM+). Utilizing his sales experience at a high growth, B2B technology company, Ryan strongly believes that the best sales professionals are those willing to sacrifice short-term gains in favor of the client’s long-term success.
